ABOUT Dr. Ray

Whatever Dr. Shem Ray, III does, he is firm, positive and enthusiastic in his approach.

In 1993, Dr. Ray began school at Texas Chiropractic College.  He graduated Cum Laude from Texas Chiropractic College in 1996, where he received his Doctorate of Chiropractic. Dr. Ray also attended Texas Tech University.  In 1981, he graduated with a Bachelors of Arts degree.

          After graduation from Chiropractic College Dr. Ray decided to put his roots in Rockwall, and began practicing here in 1997.  Ray Chiropractic was founded in January 2000.  Dr. Ray and his three children and two grandchildren reside in Rockwall. 

          Dr. Ray constantly strives to improve and update his knowledge in the field of chiropractic.  He has completed extensive post-graduate study emphasizing the treatment and rehabilitation of whiplash injuries, headaches, neck and back pain.

          Dr. Ray also is certified in Acupuncture and has practiced it in Rockwall for the past 10 years.  Dr. Ray treats many different conditions with acupuncture, chiropractic, nutritional therapy and physical rehabilitation both individually and combined.

          A firm believer in the basic worth of every individual and the incredible healing power of the human body, Dr. Ray uses healthcare options that make sense.  Using gentle effective Chiropractic care, restorative, active, and passive modalities that speed up recovery and getting people back to living.
